Crewman AS20B Operation Guide
Steps required to operate and maintain the Crewman AS20B autoscrubber.
Machine preparation
- Add appropriate amount of cleaning chemical for 9 gallon tank to solution tank (see chemical labeling for dilution ratio)
- Add solution to tank via front fill port

- Install squeegee assembly on rear of machine by threading retaining pin into squeegee column

- Attach squeegee suction hose to sleeve to complete squeegee installation
- Attach squeegee suction hose to sleeve to complete squeegee installation

- Install pads, pad drivers, or alternatively install scrub brush to scrub deck
- Install scrub pad to pad driver
- Unscrew center lock from pad driver
- Install scrub pad to pad driver

- Screw center lock on pad driver to secure scrub pad

- Raise scrub deck via pedal

- Align pad driver / brush so it is centered under scrub deck

- Turn on brush control switch on main dashboard

- Lower scrub deck onto pad driver / brush via pedal
- Attach pad driver to scrub deck by squeezing handle trigger

Machine operation
- Turn brush and vacuum on via switches on dashboard

- Lower squeegee assembly to floor via squeegee lever

- Lower scrub deck to floor via pedal at rear of machine

- Use solution knob to adjust solution flow

- Squeeze handle trigger to begin moving forward

- Close solution valve, raise scrub deck, and squeegee when cleaning is complete
Daily Maintenance
- Empty recovery tank
- Position machine near mop sink or approved drain
- Remove drain hose from clip and empty recovery tank

- Clean recovery tank
- Open top cover

- Disconnect vacuum hose

Warning: Do not spray water into vacuum hose, this will damage vacuum motor

- Remove float shut off assembly and rinse with hose

- Use hose to rinse out recovery tank

- Remove and rinse squeegee assembly

- Connect battery to charger and allow full charge cycle to complete prior to next usage of machine
Note: Do not connect charger to plug attached to machine wall pictured below. This plug is for the machine wiring harness, and will not charge the batteries
