# Optima XR: Machine vibrates excessively

## Steps to identify and resolve machine vibration issue for the Optima XR

### Burnisher pad

- #### Pad positioning
  
    - Check and confirm pad is centered on pad driver
    - Remove and reposition pad if needed
    - Ensure the pad center lock is securely fastened

Note: Always tilt machine to right when checking pad to avoid spilling oil

- #### Damaged pad
  
    - Check pad for signs of wear and replace if visibly damaged
